Biography
Born in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL, Keith grew up fishing. Instead of cartoons on Saturday mornings, Keith would watch the fishing programs. Largemouth Bass are Keith's passion. For the past 25 years, he has fine-tuned his ability to hunt for Lunker Bass under any condition. Living in the Midwest, Keith knew he would have to master Bass behavior and find fish no matter what conditions he was faced with. The harsh seasons of Chicago have a drastic effect on temperatures, spawning habits, oxygen levels, and feeding habits for any fish.
Over the last decade, Keith has taken his knowledge of this glamorous species to Mexico's world famous Lake El Salto. His search for the elusive double digit Bass has proved very successful. These waters are home to giant and aggressive Bass. Whether your style of Bass fishing is to throw spinnerbaits, swimbaits, jerk baits, texas rigs, top water or just grinding crank baits to the bottom Keith has the experience and knowledge that will help you. The bass grow bigger there, they are stronger there, and the fishing adventure is first class. Your 10 pound Bass is just a cast away
What is the best way to scout out new water?
What is the best way to scout out new water?
Ive found the best way to scout new waters is to start with google earth. I view the area and look at anything that can give me the advantage, whether is be sunken trees, drop offs in the water of just view a parking spot. Then I will walk the entire perimeter looking for some form of life. I will listen for frogs jumping, look for baitfish, panfish, or crayfish. If any of these are present its a good sign that bass can sustain life here using this as forge. If I do not see any life at all I simply will not fish the water at all.
Thank you for your message. The vast majority of local waters has said 'Donkeys' in them. Weather, water temperature, and seasons along with proper scouting of waters parred with the perfect bait will ensure a toad takes your presentation.
Looking forward to the opportunity to provide a 15/30 min session to further discuss.
